Chet Walker - Senior Managing Director

Chet Walker is co-founder and Senior Managing Director of Forsyth Capital Investors. Mr. Walker began his professional career in 1972 when he joined a predecessor of Bank of America. During his 30-year tenure with the institution, he performed a variety of assignments, including Corporate Banking and the founding of the Private Placements, Syndications and Project Finance Groups within NationsBank and NCNB. Mr. Walker founded Banc of America Capital Investors in 1993. Capital Investors is a private equity investment arm of Bank of America that focuses on buyouts, recapitalizations and growth capital financings. Over a 10-year span, Capital Investors invested approximately $1.4 billion in more than 100 equity and mezzanine transactions. Mr. Walker was the Managing Partner until his retirement in 2002.

Mr. Walker currently serves on the Board of Directors of Barry-Wehmiller Group, Inc and Commercial Credit Group, Inc , on the Advisory Board of Copeley Capital Partners I, L.P., and as a Senior Advisor to Falfurrias Capital Partners.

Mr. Walker received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University and a Master's Degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Kyle Chapman - Managing Director

Kyle Chapman is co-founder and Managing Director of Forsyth Capital Investors. Prior to joining Forsyth Capital Investors, Mr. Chapman was Director of Business Development for Swett & Crawford, a property and casualty wholesale insurance intermediary owned by two private equity firms, HM Capital Partners and Banc of America Capital Investors. While at Swett & Crawford, Mr. Chapman led the acquisition effort and assisted on operational and strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Swett & Crawford, Mr. Chapman worked for Banc of America Capital Investors, a Charlotte, N.C.-based private equity fund with over $2.0 billion under management, where he completed transactions in a number of industries, with a focus on financial services, business services, manufacturing and healthcare services.

Mr. Chapman graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia, where he received a B.S. in Commerce with a focus in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce. Mr. Chapman is currently the Chairman of the Board of Engle Martin & Associates, Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors of Machine Solutions Inc.

Ryan Gable - Managing Director

Ryan Gable is co-founder and Managing Director of Forsyth Capital Investors. Prior to joining Forsyth Capital Investors, Mr. Gable worked at Banc of America Capital Investors, a Charlotte, N.C.-based private equity fund with over $2.0 billion under management, where he completed transactions in a number of industries including business services, media & telecom, energy, and software. Prior to joining Banc of America Capital Investors, Mr. Gable was an analyst in Banc of America Securities Leveraged Finance group.

Mr. Gable graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond where he received a B.S. in Business Administration and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Mr. Gable is currently the Chairman of the Board of Machine Solutions Inc. and serves on the Board of Directors of Engle Martin & Associates, Inc.

Hunter Powell - Senior Associate

Hunter Powell joined Forysth Capital Investors in August 2010 as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Forsyth Capital Investors, Mr. Powell worked at Cherokee Investment Partners, a Raleigh, N.C.-based private equity fund with over $2.0 billion under management, where he helped underwrite and manage large-scale brownfield redevelopment projects across the country. Before Cherokee, Mr. Powell was a Senior Analyst at Harris Williams & Company, a middle market sell-side advisory services firm where he completed transactions in a number of industries including energy, business services, transportation & logistics, and industrial services.

Mr. Powell graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a B.S. in Business Administration.
